Tao Wang

Biography

Tao is a PhD student in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at UT Austin. He obtained his master’s degree in China University of Petroleum (East China) and bachelor’s degree in China University of Petroleum (East China). He has been working with Professor Ryosuke Okuno since 2023 on carbon sequestration and enhanced oil recovery. Prior to arriving at UT, he worked for Halliburton Brill Bits & Services.
