Hao Wang is a PhD student in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at UT Austin. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering at China University of Petroleum-Beijing. He has been working with Professor Ryosuke Okuno since 2021 on geological carbon sequestration and enhanced oil recovery. His current research focuses on formate and CO2 nanobubbles for carbon storage problems and published journal articles on this topic.
