Research Group Lunch!

On Friday, May 31st, our group enjoyed a celebratory lunch to mark the numerous achievements of the past fruitful Spring semester.

We successfully held our 3rd Annual Meeting from May 23-24, 2024, where we presented 13 technical reports and invited 4 external speakers.

This coming summer, three of our PhD students are beginning their internships:

• Hassan Amer is interning at Kinder Morgan, Inc.

• Tesleem Lawal will start his internship at Weatherford.

• Oluwafemi Precious Oyenowo will conduct his internship at Idaho National Laboratory.

We hope they have a wonderful internship experience.

Additionally, we extend a warm welcome to our new member, Hirotake Kitagawa (Visiting Researcher). Hirotake, sponsored by his employer Nissan Chemical Corporation, will be conducting research on Geologic Carbon Sequestration with our group.
